Ronald McDonald House Holiday Fun Night

Fairytale Entertainment, Jersey Family Fun, A Magical Mommy, Magical Maids and our friends are working together once again to bring a special evening to the guests of the Ronald McDonald House on December 17, 2010. Yes, we realize that’s in the middle of the holiday season. But that is exactly the point. All of us partnering on this effort know how blessed we are to have our children healthy and home with us for the holidays. There are families that will not be that fortunate this December. It is for them, that we are returning.

You might remember, our last visit there, in August, when we honored the memory of BRIELLE THERESA SANTO, a beautiful baby girl who passed away peacefully, at 16 days old, from complications related to Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia. This time we will honor, Brielle’s family and all the families facing a difficult time this holiday.

While we are there we hope to feed their bodies and take their minds off their troubles through special holiday activities and character visits from Fairytale Entertainment. We can not do it alone. We need you!

Last time around several friends joined us. Have you seen the pictures? See our Wall of Honor (August 2010) for all those individuals and companies that helped. This time around we’d like to add your name and business to our Wall of Honor.

What do we have planned?

Karen Hudson Sweitzer, A Magical Mommy, and Magical Maids will lead a team of volunteers in the kitchen preparing a delicious taco dinner. For dessert, there will be a plethora of options. Guests can decorate their own cookies or choose from a selection of homemade baked goods, fruits, or other treats. Afterwards, children and adults, will use their hands and hearts to create holiday ornaments and cards for the Ronald McDonald House and their child’s hospital room. As the evening winds down, children will enjoy hearing bedtime stories from their favorite princesses and other children characters.

How can you help?

There are so many ways you can help. You can help from your home or help  us that night. You can help with your time, wallet, or talents. There are so many ways to help we can’t list it on one page.
